Psychiatry residents training for mental healthcare at Tufts Medical Center

Our psychiatry residents are the heart of Tufts Medical Center’s training program. They bring diverse backgrounds, strong dedication, and a passion for learning and compassionate care. Throughout their training, they receive expert mentorship, hands-on experience across multiple specialties, and opportunities to grow as clinicians, educators and leaders. We are proud to support their journey toward becoming skilled psychiatrists ready to meet the evolving needs of mental healthcare.

About me
Biography

I was born in Bangkok, Thailand and moved at the age of four to Houston, Texas where I stayed to complete my undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Rice University and medical school at Baylor College of Medicine. Despite never having set foot in the northeast, my intuition led me to believe that the historic and romantic City of Boston would be my dream place to train. Tufts was the perfect choice for me given its diverse patient population, proximity to Chinatown, and emphasis on psychodynamics. Some of my favorite things to do include long walks and foodie adventures with friends, leaving origami decor around the hospital, reading, knitting, and Rubik's cubing.

Biography

I grew up outside of Buffalo, NY and went to undergrad at SUNY Geneseo where I majored in Neuroscience and competed on the swim team. I then attended medical school at SUNY Upstate in Syracuse. I love living in Boston so far, and I am excited to continue my psychiatry training at Tufts Medicine!
