The Hematology/Oncology Division at Tufts Medical Center (Tufts MC) in Boston was established by Dr. William Dameshek, an eminent hematologist and the first president of the American Society of Hematology. Since then, our division has expanded significantly and oversees over 25,000 outpatient visits and treatments annually at the advanced Tufts Medical Center Cancer Center.

The Division of Geographic Medicine and Infectious Diseases at Tufts Medical Center (Tufts MC) provides comprehensive, compassionate and confidential care for every type of infectious disease, both in the inpatient and outpatient settings. We solve problems and are here to help with the most up-to-date treatments. 

Everything we do is centered on improving health and preventing infectious diseases at the patient, hospital and global community levels.

The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Tufts Medical Center takes pride in its legacy of innovation and exceptional patient care. Our goals are to understand the basis of endocrine diseases, develop more effective treatments and provide the highest standards of care to improve the lives of patients with endocrine disorders.

The Division of Clinical Decision Making, Informatics and Telemedicine began as a collaboration between computer scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and physicians at Tufts Medical Center (Tufts MC) and Tufts University School of Medicine. Under the guidance of Drs. Stephen Pauker and Jerome Kassirer, it was formally established within the Department of Medicine in 1980 to conduct research, teach, train physicians and provide consultations.
