About me
Biography

Sheila Rajan, MD is our current Sleep Medicine Fellow at Tufts Medical Center starting July 1 2025. She completed her internal medicine residency at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center and earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. Growing up in Orrington, Maine, helped shape her commitment to improving access to high-quality, personalized​ and equitable sleep care across diverse communities. Her clinical interests include obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, the cardiometabolic impact of sleep disorders, circadian rhythm disorders​ and obesity medicine. She has been actively involved in quality improvement projects, community outreach​ and mentorship throughout her career. Her research and advocacy reflect her dedication to holistic, patient centered care. Outside of medicine, she recharges through wildlife photography and music and loves getting outdoors to hike and ski.
