Join Tufts Medical Center’s pathology residency—where expert mentorship meets comprehensive anatomic and clinical training
Thank you for your interest in the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Residency Program at Tufts Medical Center.
For more than 70 years, our program has trained well-rounded, diagnostically excellent pathologists who are equipped to meet the clinical, research and educational demands of a fast-changing field. As a medium-sized program with 12 residents, 2 surgical pathology fellows and 1 hematopathology fellow, we offer a balanced mix of clinical and didactic experiences in a supportive environment that values teamwork and interprofessional collaboration.
We actively encourage resident involvement in research, working alongside faculty whose academic interests span the full spectrum of anatomic and clinical pathology. Our graduates go on to thrive in a wide range of settings, including academic medicine, private practice and industry. With strong ties to Tufts University School of Medicine, we are proud of our long tradition of mentoring and preparing the next generation of pathologists.
We look forward to helping you learn more about our program.
