Comprehensive pathology residency training at Tufts Medical Center
The goal of the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Residency Program at Tufts Medical Center is to provide balanced, comprehensive training in both anatomic and clinical pathology. Our residents gain a strong foundation through hands-on learning, academic engagement and close mentorship from dedicated faculty and staff.
Most of the training takes place at Tufts Medical Center, a 415-bed tertiary care hospital and the principal teaching site for Tufts University School of Medicine. Our program offers a unique mix of clinical exposure, research opportunities and subspecialty depth across all areas of pathology and laboratory medicine.
Graduates of our program consistently match into top fellowships in the subspecialties of their choice and go on to successful careers in both academic and community pathology settings. We take pride in preparing skilled, thoughtful pathologists who are ready to meet the demands of a fast-changing field.
