Lowell General Hospital Honored for Outstanding Stroke Care

September 16, 2020

Lowell General has once again been recognized for the outstanding care we provide patients suffering from a stroke.

The American Heart Association and American Stroke Association honored both campuses for our continued success using the Get With the Guidelines and Target: Type 2 Diabetes quality improvement programs. The main campus was named a Stroke Silver Plus with Elite Honor Roll and the Saints campus was named a Stroke Silver Plus. Both were given the Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll.

The Get With the Guidelines program represents the latest evidence-based treatment guidelines for stroke care, leading to improved outcomes and better patient care.
