A 30 item instrument to measure mental health literacy for women of reproductive age with 4 themes: accessing and obtaining mental health information, understanding mental health information, maintaining mental health, adapting to the challenges of women's lives.

Content validity: The content was validated by a panel of 13 experts who reviewed and modified items, retaining those with a CVI > 0.79.

Reliability notes: 30 women completed the questionnaire twice within a 2 week interval period to determine the test-retest reliability.
