Scoring categories: WELLS is a six-item scale and each correct response was awarded one point. Scores are assigned from zero to six, with one point for each correct answer. Higher scores relate to higher health literacy. -Low (score of 0–2) -Medium (score of 3 or 4) -High (score of 4 or 6)
