The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at Tufts Medical Center (Tufts MC) in Boston is a nationally recognized 10-bed, quaternary care ICU. We provide state-of-the-art post-surgical care for patients being treated for conditions ranging from liver transplantation to high-risk obstetrics. With approximately 950 admissions annually, the SICU is staffed by a senior and experienced nursing staff and has in-unit 24-hour coverage by a physician team.

The Division of Plastic Surgery at Tufts Medical Center (Tufts MC) works to improve our patients' quality of life by offering a wide range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. Our team uses state-of-the-art techniques to provide special expertise in hand surgery, pediatric plastic surgery, cosmetic procedures, body contouring, breast surgery and wound surgery. We also provide patients with evaluation and treatment of congenital, acquired and traumatic deformities that require plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Our team of highly trained surgeons is experienced in all aspects of general surgery, including surgery for hernias, gallbladder disease and disorders of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands. We also have dedicated specialists in the management of both benign and malignant diseases.
