Advance your sleep medicine career with a fellowship at Tufts Medical Center

At Tufts Medical Center, our sleep medicine fellows work and grow in a truly collaborative environment. Our program trains highly qualified sleep medicine physicians who can independently diagnose, treat and manage a wide range of sleep disorders while fostering a passion for research and lifelong learning in the field. These programs prepare fellows for careers in both academic and clinical settings, emphasizing the importance of evidence-based medicine and patient care.

Our location on the Tufts Medical Center campus makes collaboration easy and meaningful. Our team regularly partners with oral and maxillofacial surgery, otolaryngology, dentistry, neurology, psychiatry, cardiology and anesthesiology. Fellows also benefit from connections across Tufts University School of Medicine, Tufts Dental School, the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI).

  • A case report or abstract submitted to the APSS meeting, with a review article submitted for publication
  • An original research project, which could include IRB submission and chart review
  • A prospective clinical study
  • A basic science or translational science project

  • NIH sponsored RECOVER-SLEEP Hypersomnia (Modafinil/Solriamfetol) and RECOVER-SLEEP Complex Sleep Disturbances (Melatonin + Light Therapy)

Fellows are supported by faculty mentors and resources from Tufts CTSI, which connects researchers to tools, training and collaboration to help move research into real-world care and policy.
