Obstetrics + Gynecology Residency Program - Diversity

We recognize that a diverse physician workforce enables the creation of a more just and equitable women’s healthcare field. To that end, we seek to recruit and support diverse residents that reflect the broad diversity of the patients that we serve.

The Diversity, Equity + Social Justice Committee

The Diversity, Equity and Social Justice Committee is a resident-led group that provides programming and support for all residents. Past programming has included:

  • ALIES: Creating a resident curriculum on gender diverse patients
  • Diversity & Inclusion Working Group: Establishing a hospital-wide committee with residents from all departments to discuss recruitment with the GME office
  • Implicit Bias Training: A didactic and grand rounds series with various guest speakers on the harms of implicit
