Tufts Medical Center offers a well-rounded OBGYN residency program in the heart of Boston. Our training combines academic excellence with hands-on clinical experience in both university and community settings. We prepare residents to thrive in general practice, pursue subspecialty fellowships, lead research or drive meaningful advocacy.

Residents gain experience across all OBGYN specialties with guidance from dedicated faculty. Most training takes place at Tufts Medical Center, with additional rotations at Lowell General Hospital, MelroseWakefield Hospital and Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. This mix of training sites ensures broad exposure to different patient populations and care environments.

Tufts Medical Center offers an exceptional OBGYN residency that blends academic rigor with hands-on clinical training in both hospital and community settings. Our residents care for a diverse patient population and gain exposure to all core subspecialties, including maternal-fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, reproductive endocrinology and more. With rotations at Tufts Medical Center and our regional partners, residents graduate with the skills and confidence to practice in any setting.

Our program stands out for its focus on career development and individualized learning. Residents have the opportunity to pursue an 8-9 week elective during their third year, which can be tailored to research, international work or advanced clinical experience. Each resident is also matched with faculty mentors who support their goals throughout training.
