Clinical training that prepares you for board certification

The Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at Tufts Medical Center provides outstanding clinical training that prepares fellows for board certification in both pulmonary disease and critical care medicine. Our program also offers a rich clinical and basic science research environment, empowering fellows to pursue innovative investigations at the highest level.

Our faculty are deeply committed to mentoring and supporting fellows throughout their training, fostering a collaborative atmosphere where learning and growth thrive.

As part of the Tufts Medical Center Department of Medicine, fellows join a vibrant academic community with approximately 150 full-time faculty, 72 internal medicine house officers and 145 fellows across specialties. Located on the main campus of Tufts University School of Medicine, the program offers unique opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration with divisions such as Infectious DiseaseClinical Decision MakingHematology-Oncology and Clinical Services Research. Fellows also engage with departments including Anesthesiology, Radiology, Surgery and Pathology.

Additionally, our fellows benefit from partnerships with the Tufts University School of Medicine, the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Tufts University, the USDA Human Nutrition Center on Aging and Brown University's Alpert Medical School in Rhode Island.
