How to apply to the Physical Medicine + Rehabilitation Residency at Tufts Medical Center
All applications must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
If you need help using ERAS or accessing a student workstation, please contact your medical school’s Dean’s Office. International medical graduates should reach out to the ECFMG.
Application requirements
To be considered, we must receive the following by October 1, 2026:
- Minimum of three letters of recommendation (at least one from a physiatrist strongly recommended)
- Curriculum vitae
- Personal statement
- Medical school transcript
- Dean’s letter
- USMLE or COMLEX Steps 1 & 2 results (must be passed on the first attempt)
We do not review applications missing any of the above documents.
Interview format: All interviews will be held virtually.
NRMP: Applicants must register with the National Resident Match Program for PGY-2 positions in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Applications should be received for preliminary review by October 1, 2026. All of the above information must be received before we can review your application.
