ICU rotation schedule for the anesthesiology critical care fellowship
Fellows complete their clinical training primarily at Tufts Medical Center, a 415-bed academic hospital in downtown Boston that delivers everything from routine care to highly complex, specialized treatments.
- Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) – 2 months
- Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) – 2 months
- Medical ICU (MICU) – 1 month
- Surgical ICU (SICU) – 1 month
- Neurocritical Care Unit (NCCU) – 1 month
- Palliative Care – 1 month
- Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) – 1 month
- Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE) – 2 weeks
- Boston MedFlight (optional) – 2 weeks
- Electives – 2 months
