Explore the Neurology Clinical Observership Program at Tufts Medical Center
Observers can include undergraduates, medical students and licensed clinicians. While observers don’t provide care or access medical records, they can shadow experienced clinicians and watch how care is delivered in real time. The observership lasts 1–4 weeks and follows strict eligibility and supervision guidelines. Because space is limited, selection is competitive and takes 60–90 days.
Eligibility and guidelines:
- Must be at least 18 years old and have completed one semester of college
- No academic credit, compensation or recommendation letters offered
- No direct patient care or access to charts allowed
- Must be supervised by a physician at all times
- Limited spots available and not guaranteed
