The hospital provides a comprehensive flexible benefits program that includes health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, long/short-term disability, white coats/scrubs (and laundry for these), and malpractice insurance.
The hospital raised resident salaries 9% this year and are providing all residents with a $5,000 stipend.
Residents receive a matching retirement contribution of 3%.

Additionally, medicine residents receive an education reimbursement up to $1750 over the three years. This can be used for any educational need such as attending conferences, registering for exams and purchasing study materials.
Lunch is provided for residents Monday-Fridays.
Vacation: All residents are provided four weeks of vacation per year and 3 personal days per year.
Parental Leave: The program provides 6 weeks of parental leave for the birth or adoption of a child with the option to take an additional 6 weeks under the Family Medical Leave Act. The hospital provides a dedicated lactation.
Back-up – Sick call: The program has a resident from each PGY class on a dedicated back up rotation available to help cover colleagues who need coverage for illness, emergencies and family issues.
