Our Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Tufts Medical Center is proud to have a diverse and expert team of faculty, mentors, and fellows dedicated to advancing infectious diseases care, research, and education.

Faculty + mentors

Our faculty are leaders in infectious diseases, bringing clinical expertise and cutting-edge research to the program. Many hold national leadership roles and have been recognized for their mentorship and scholarly achievements.

  • Dr. David Snydman, MD, FACP, FIDSA – Emeritus Division Chief and expert in hospital epidemiology and antimicrobial stewardship
  • Dr. Shira Doron, MD, MS – Director of infection prevention and hospital epidemiology, and champion of antimicrobial stewardship
  • Dr. Frank Tally, MD (in memoriam) – Renowned pioneer in antibacterial drug development and namesake of the Tally Fellowship
