Building community + amplifying your voice as a resident or fellow
At Tufts Medicine, residency and fellowship go far beyond clinical training. We’re committed to building a collaborative, inclusive environment where your voice matters and your well-being comes first. Our Graduate Medical Education office brings residents and fellows together across specialties, creating a strong sense of community from day one.
Throughout the year, we offer opportunities to connect, lead and shape your experience:
- Bi-monthly resident leadership council meetings: Collaborate with fellow residents and make your impact on training initiatives.
- Monthly GME committee meetings: Discuss key updates, share feedback and help shape the program.
- New house staff orientation + luncheon: Start your journey with us by connecting with new colleagues and learning about your role.
- Quarterly resident forums: Engage in conversations about your training, experiences, and feedback with faculty and leadership.
- Social events: Unwind and have fun outside the hospital, from casual meet-ups to themed parties.
- Semi-annual house Staff Appreciation Day: Get recognized for all the hard work you do, and take time to relax and celebrate with your colleagues.
Whether you’re new to Tufts Medicine or exploring your options, we want you to know that you’ll be joining a place that prioritizes connection, inclusion and your success—both inside and outside the hospital.
