How to apply for the hematopathology fellowship

Application process

Our fellowship program participates in the NRMP Match for Hematopathology Fellowship positions. The application process is streamlined to ensure a fair and transparent selection of candidates.

Key dates
  • January: Interviews start
  • Early February: Match registration opens for applicants and programs
  • Mid-March: Ranking period begins
  • Mid-April: Rank order list certification deadline
  • Late April: Match Day
  • July 1: Fellowship start date
Requirements

Applicants must be board eligible in AP/CP, CP or AP and licensed to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts by the time their fellowship begins.

An exceptional candidate pathway is available, provided no qualified candidates are identified via match.
