Child + Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship - Program Leadership

Program Leadership

Meet the leaders of our child + adolescent psychiatry fellowship

Our program is led by a dedicated team of educators and clinicians who are committed to creating a supportive, inclusive and high-quality training experience. They work closely with fellows to provide mentorship, guide professional development and ensure strong clinical learning across all training sites.

We’re proud to introduce our fellowship leadership:

John Sargent

John Sargent, MD
Chief, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Dr. Sargent is a nationally recognized leader in child and adolescent psychiatry. He brings decades of experience in clinical care, academic leadership, and program development. As Division Chief, he helps shape the fellowship’s vision, supports innovation in care, and ensures fellows are part of a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

Neha Sharma

Neha Sharma, DO
Program Director, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship
Dr. Sharma oversees the day-to-day operations of the fellowship and serves as a primary mentor for fellows throughout their training. She is passionate about medical education, wellness, and preparing the next generation of child psychiatrists for meaningful and rewarding careers.

Together, Dr. Sargent and Dr. Sharma lead a program that values teamwork, personal growth, and the highest standards of clinical care. Their leadership creates a strong foundation for fellows to thrive and make an impact in the lives of children, adolescents, and families.
