Resident wellness + community support at Tufts Medical Center anesthesiology
Anesthesiology residency can be tough, both mentally and physically. That’s why at Tufts Medical Center, we’ve created a close-knit community where residents support each other every step of the way. Our faculty is here to offer personal mentorship and guidance in a welcoming, down-to-earth environment.
Taking care of ourselves is really important here. Throughout the year, residents, faculty, and the department organize fun activities to help everyone unwind and connect. Some of our favorites have been:
- Whale watching in Boston Harbor
- Yoga and group fitness classes
- Pick-up basketball games
- Outdoor ropes courses
- Picnics along the Charles River
We also get together monthly for social events at local spots. These moments to relax and hang out help build friendships and remind us that we’re more than just colleagues — we’re a community. That’s what makes life at Tufts Medical Center so special.
