Nursing Excellence Awards

Tufts Medical Center nurses are recognized for excellence, compassion and leadership, making a meaningful difference for patients, families, colleagues and the communities we serve.

Tufts Medical Center is recognized by the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® for excellence in nursing, the highest national credential for nursing excellence and quality patient care. Magnet® recognition reflects the strength of our nursing practice, our commitment to professional development and the important role nurses play in advancing quality, safety and patient experience.

Nominate a nurse
Recognize a nurse for a DAISY Award to say 'thank you' to nurses by honoring the super-human work nurses do at the bedside every day, funding research and honoring nursing faculty.

Nominations can be submitted by patients, families, colleagues, physicians and other staff. The DAISY award is focused on the compassionate care and memorable moments nurses provide their patients and great clinical skill.

Our nurses strengthen the communities we serve through education, advocacy and partnership. From helping patients and families build confidence in managing care at home to contributing to initiatives that improve quality, safety and patient experience, nurses at Tufts Medical Center make a meaningful difference within the medical center and beyond.
