AHA Get with the Guidelines® - Stroke GOLD PLUS Achievement Award
To receive the Quality Achievement Award, hospitals must achieve percentage benchmarks on adherence to all Get With The Guidelines-Stroke achievement indicators for at least 12 consecutive months and during the same period achieve benchmark standards of compliance with five of eight Get With The Guidelines-Stroke Quality measures.

The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program® recognizes healthcare organizations for high-quality patient care, exemplary patient outcomes and satisfaction, nursing excellence and innovations in professional practice. Lowell General Hospital achieved Magnet recognition for excellence in patient care in October 2010 and again in both 2015 and 2020. Lowell General is one of ten Magnet-designated healthcare organizations in Massachusetts and one of only 2% of U.S. hospitals nationwide that have achieved Magnet recognition more than once.
