About this location

The Lowell General Hospital Bridge Clinic is a community resource for people 18 years of age and older that want to start treatment for opioid and alcohol use disorders. This program offers initial diagnosis and medication for treatment in a welcoming and supportive environment staffed by a clinical team specializing in substance use disorders.

Our clinic serves as a “bridge” to longer-term treatment that fits each patient’s self-identified path for sustained recovery. We are here to help and meet patients where they are at, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

Services provided

  • Medication assisted treatment
  • Assistance with detox referrals
  • Rides to detox facilities
  • Recovery coaching
  • Connection to outpatient programs

The Lowell General Hospital Bridge Clinic accepts referrals from inpatient services, outpatient practices, and emergency departments. We also welcome walk-ins.

Located at the Lowell General Hospital Saints campus in the adjacent Medical Office Building, the clinic provides a variety of services and resources with the expert care you can trust from Tufts Medicine Lowell General Hospital.

Same day walk-in services are available, although we do encourage patients to call 978-934-8494 for an appointment.
