Yuan Yao, MD, MBA, Joins Family Medicine Practices in Wakefield + Malden

Yuan Yao, MD, MBA, a family medicine physician, has joined Tufts Medical Center Community Care’s family medicine practices at the MelroseWakefield Medical Building at 888 Main St., Wakefield, and at 578 Main St., Malden.

Dr. Yao provides care for patients of all ages from infants to adults. He believes in advocating for patient health through education and using a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Dr. Yao received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Society of Addiction Medicine.

Dr. Yao, who is proficient in speaking Mandarin Chinese, is accepting new patients of all ages, offering online appointment scheduling and same-day and next-day appointments in two locations:
