Tufts Medicine Physicians Recognized for Providing Exceptional Care

January 10, 2024

The Tufts Medicine Integrated Network (TMIN) was named to Harvard Pilgrim Health Care’s 2024 Physician Group Honor Roll. The annual Honor Roll recognizes physician groups that have achieved exceptional results in disease prevention and the treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.

Fifty-three Honor Roll physician groups were selected based their 2022 clinical performance measured against national standards set by HEDIS® (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set), a tool developed for the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) to assess the clinical performance of doctors and other medical professionals. Within TMIN, established and rebranded in late 2022, the following entities were named to the Honor Roll: New England Quality Care Alliance, Lowell General PHO and Tufts Medical Center Physicians Organization (Tufts MC PO).

Tufts MC PO is one of 16 practices on the Honor Roll to achieve “With Distinction” status—exceeding NCQA’s national 90th percentile in all domains of clinical care.

“Our communities count on us to get well and stay well,” said Dr. Frank Osborn, TMIN Chief Medical Officer. “TMIN’s inclusion on the Honor Roll is a testament to the exceptional care our physicians and care team members provide every day.”

“We are honored to recognize these physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants around the region for their exemplary performance on key quality measures,” said Dr. Raj Hazarika, Point32Health’s Chief Medical Officer, Commercial Products. “These high-performing clinical results and achievements reflect their commitment to providing high-quality care and healthier outcomes for their patients, including investments in capturing and reporting clinical data. We are proud to spotlight these healthcare professionals for their outstanding work.”
