Sun Santa Themed Basket Raffle Is Back

November 24, 2020

The holidays are a little different this year, but the needs of local families across Greater Lowell is greater than ever.

2020 Sun Santa Themed Raffle Baskets

So while we can’t gather in person this year, Lowell General Hospital’s Themed Basket Raffle to benefit the Sun Santa Fund is back again this year. Beginning Friday, November 27, the baskets can be viewed and tickets purchased at Sunsanta.

This year there are 26 baskets ranging in value from $100 to $1,500, all put together by departments at Lowell General. Many have a theme of resilience and self-care during this challenging time, while others include cash, lottery tickets and technology. Raffle tickets are just $1 each.

All proceeds and a match from Lowell General Hospital go to Sun Santa Charities, which works with the Salvation Army to help local families during the holidays.

In past years, Lowell General has hosted a live drawing at the hospital’s main campus, but this year’s drawing will be done virtually. A list of winners, a link to a video of the drawing and directions on how to pick up prizes will be available on Dec. 9.
