Squash are high in nutrients that can help your immune system.

Did you know that all varieties of squash are high in vitamins A and C? Not only do they taste great when roasted, but they help support your immune system, digestive system and have healing properties. It’s no wonder that our registered dietitian, Kaitlin, wanted to highlight them this month!

Squash are versatile fruits that can be prepared like a vegetable. They can be savory or sweet and pair well with warm spices like nutmeg and cinnamon, making them perfect for autumn. Plus they can be prepared on the stove or in the oven and are great pureed into a sauce or added to baked goods.
