Healthy Recipes: December 2021

December 15, 2021

Frozen vegetables are a healthy and inexpensive way to get vegetables during the winter months.

Frozen vegetables are a great addition to sauces, casseroles and stews or soups and they can be prepared in the microwave, oven or stove. You can also try roasting, searing or steaming them and adding different seasonings for added flavor and texture. They are a healthy cooking hack since they are picked at peak ripeness and are already cleaned and sometimes pre-cut. December can be a busy time so make your dinners easy, affordable and light with these recipes that were hand-selected by our own registered dietitians.
