Healthy Recipes: April 2021

April 8, 2021

Spring is here and it brings warmer weather and new seasonal produce with it.

Vegetables like peas, parsnips and fiddleheads are in season and are a great way to awaken your taste buds. Foods that are “in season” are generally less expensive to buy and do not have to be transported from other climates so they get to our plates quicker and at peak ripeness. Ripe produce is often better tasting and has a higher nutrient content. Our own registered dietitians hand-picked these recipes that highlight seasonal vegetables to lighten up and brighten your meals.
