Drew Landmeier Named Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for Tufts Medicine

Landmeier brings decades of strategic healthcare marketing, branding, communications and digital innovation experience to the health system

Tufts Medicine announced today the appointment of Drew Landmeier as its new Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer. In this role, Landmeier will lead the marketing and communications team and programs across the health system, while working collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organization and local communities. 

Landmeier brings a proven track record of success in complex adult and pediatric healthcare systems, as well as with the nation’s largest hospice care provider. He is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in brand engagement, communications, public relations, crisis management, strategic planning, creative development, digital innovation, media strategy, and recruitment.

Landmeier joins Tufts Medicine November 4 from Nemours Children’s Health in Jacksonville, Florida, where he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer and was instrumental in the strategic market positioning of the organization as a nationally prominent pediatric health system brand. Prior to his time at Nemours, he spent 14 years at Vitas Healthcare in Miami, Florida, holding marketing communications leadership roles with progressive responsibilities. Landmeier also previously held marketing communications leadership roles at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Parkway Regional Medical Center, and Tenet South Florida. 

A graduate of Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, Landmeier is a member of the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development, and the American Marketing Association.
