Content validity: The development of the tool included forward and back-translation of the tool from the original English version by two different philologists, the translations were analyzed and clarified taking in consideration cultural adaptations.

Reliability notes: "The Turkish S-TOFHLA showed high internal consistency. A reliability test of all 36 items revealed a high internal consistency (alpha = 0.97), no single item was below 0.968."
