Tufts Medical Center Physics faculty

The Division of Medical Physics in Radiation Oncology at Tufts Medical Center comprises two PhD prepared medical physicists, one Masters prepared medical physicist, and one dosimetrist. Faculty support all clinical modalities, including external beam, brachytherapy, and Gamma Knife stereotactic radiosurgery, which is a unique treatment modality in northern New England. The division is nationally recognized for its work in quality assurance, leadership, and brachytherapy. The physics faculty are embedded in residency program operations and provide didactic teaching throughout the academic year. Residents have the opportunity to participate in research activates, a dosimetry rotation, and incident learning training with the medical physics division.
