Research opportunities for gastroenterology + hepatology fellows
Tufts Medical Center offers strong training programs in outcomes research and clinical decision making. All fellows participate in research activities—clinical or basic science—throughout their three-year fellowship. Quality improvement projects are also an essential part of the training.
Faculty work closely with fellows to select research projects that align with their interests and long-term goals. The time devoted to research is tailored to each fellow’s needs. Those interested in academic careers have the opportunity to pursue advanced degrees alongside their fellowship.
