Training Experience

Comprehensive GI + hepatology clinical training in Boston

Our fellowship provides comprehensive clinical training across a variety of settings, giving fellows hands-on experience in managing complex gastrointestinal and liver diseases. Through rotations at Tufts Medical Center, St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center and MetroWest Medical Center, fellows encounter a diverse patient population and a wide range of clinical cases.

The program emphasizes both general gastroenterology and advanced procedural skills. Fellows gain expertise in endoscopy techniques such as ERCP, EUS, endoscopic mucosal resection and balloon enteroscopy. Training also includes managing GI bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disorders and motility issues.

Beyond clinical care, fellows build confidence through direct mentorship, multidisciplinary team collaboration and exposure to cutting-edge therapies and technologies. This balanced approach prepares fellows for careers in academic medicine, advanced clinical practice or subspecialty training.
