Volunteers are an essential part of the Tufts Medical Center community. Their dedication enhances the experience of our patients and visitors, supports the well-being of our staff, strengthens our organization, and contributes to better patient outcomes. Thank you for your interest in making a meaningful difference through volunteer service.

Tufts Medical Center welcomes volunteers ages 16 and older. Volunteers are asked to commit to at least one year of service, although that commitment may include scheduled breaks. Most volunteers serve one or two four-hour shifts per week, depending on their availability and the needs of the program throughout the year.
