  • Primary Care Physician - $20k bonus
  • Enhanced Specialty - $10k bonus
  • Other Specialty Physician - $5k bonus

How it works

When you refer a prospective candidate for one of our open roles and that physician is hired, you will be eligible to receive a referral bonus.

To refer a candidate, follow these three simple steps:

  1. Notify the Tufts Medicine Physician Recruitment Team through email or phone informing them that you are referring a candidate.
  2. Sign and submit the Tufts Medicine Physician Recruitment Referral Bonus Agreement Form and Candidate Submission form.
  3. Introduce the candidate to the Tufts Medicine Physician Recruitment team by email or phone.
When and how do I receive the referral bonus?

If the referred candidate is hired, the referring party will receive half of the stipend within 30 days of the clinician’s first day of employment.
Who is eligible to participate in the program? Are there exclusions?
  • All physicians across the Tufts Medicine are eligible to participate.
  • If a duplicate referral is received, date and timestamp of the referral email will determine who will receive the referral bonus.
  • Referral documentation including the Program Agreement and Candidate Submission form must be completed in order to be eligible for the referral bonus.
  • There is no limit to the number of candidates you can refer; however, there may be a limit to the number of referral bonuses that you may receive.
